Building on the success of the highly popular JV3 model, Japanese manufacturer Mimaki created the JV33 series to continue their market-leading range of solvent inkjet printers.
Despite having a misconceived bad reputation, the solvent inkjet printers continue to be widely used today, and even we have one here at Banner Box. The printer has a high print resolution at 1,440 dpi (dots per inch), and has a quick print speed.
The state-of-the-art print head in the machine features 180 nozzles per 8 lines of nozzles, resulting in an amazing print quality and finish. One cool additional function of the Mimaki is the UISS (Uninterrupted Ink Supply System), which as the image above shows, each colour is represented by two ink cartridges, meaning when one is empty, the printer continues with the second cartridge, not interrupting the current job.
Take a look at the photo gallery below, which shows our Mimaki JV33-260 at work, with our graphic designer Iain Hendy!
